2 Corinthians 5:15

15: He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live to please themselves. Instead, they will live to please Christ, who died and was raised for them.

Romans 14:7

  1. For we are not our own masters when we live or when we die.
  2. While we live, we live to please the Lord. And when we die, we go to be with the Lord. So in life and in death, we belong to the Lord.
